HONE hosted a special collaboration with Chef Mook from Yakitori Mook, widely recognized as the “King Yakitori” from Culinary Class War. Held on 5–6 November 2025, the event featured an exclusive course menu thoughtfully crafted by both teams for these two nights only.

The Art of Binchotan

At the heart of the collaboration was the art of binchotan charcoal grilling. Chef Mook showcased his meticulous ingredient selection and precise fire control, drawing out the full character of each cut of chicken — from juicy tenderness to crisp skin and the signature depth of smoky aroma. The progression of the course was carefully structured to build in intensity, with each skewer served at its optimal moment.

Across both evenings, the atmosphere was vibrant yet intimate.

Guests experienced the grilling process up close, witnessing each step at the counter and engaging with the chef throughout the service. Lively conversations and shared smiles reflected the enjoyment of not only the food, but the overall experience — transforming the dinners into memorable nights centered around fire, flavor, and connection.
